Ultrasonic amplification horn for the current version of the mikroUši, mikroUši Pro and mikroUcho Pro microphones. It provides around +15 dB of passive acoustic boost from 1 kHz up to the ultrasonic range (50+ kHz), which is especially useful for recording birds, insects and bats for research purposes. Beware that the horn severely alters the frequency response of the microphone and the recordings may not sound “natural”.
The outer diameter of the horn allows mounting into our Uši mount.
The microphone and the Uši mount shown in the photos are not part of the product.
